“Water My Bones”

Inspiration: I want to dedicate this piece that was inspired by the verse that related with me in my darkest times of post partum depression that kept my mind wandering endlessly every day to suicide because of how worthless and empty I felt inside. Hormones screwed with me so bad that it affected so much around me I loved the most and it affected my mental health but I had no one in my life I could talk to because I’d get dismissed, forgotten about, or that mental health wasn’t a real thing to use as an excuse. I was at my last string of hope and faith in myself, my marriage, and in my life. This is a reminder how POWERFUL prayer not only works, but it works with those stronger in their faith to pray over you for saving grace and a new mindset to life that brings life to my soul and mind. Pastor Lance Hahn  may Bridgeway Christian Church, you saved my life with praying over me Christmas Eve 2023 when I lost myself and I was at the end of my bones hydration to keep living. I came to you shaking in fear that prayer wouldn’t be enough, and instead how tightly you held my hand and sat with me while you prayed over me knowing you could’ve been anywhere more important and time consuming on Christmas Eve, your words helped me leave the church lighter. I woke up the next morning on a he day of Christ and my 2.5 year depression had diminished for good. This piece is a thank you to my loving pastor, a different father figure to me because of it and his word I listen to every Sunday in church, and to the child of God that didn’t give up on me God sent me to! This is a chapter in my life I will still cherish for it is a dark one, but a chapter I soon hope to close when it’s hung in a new home of someone that loves what they see and can appreciate it’s inspired by another miracle in my life.

“Then he said to me, "Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel. Behold, they say, 'Our bones are dried up, and our hope is lost; we are indeed cut off.' Therefore prophesy, and say to them, Thus says the Lord God: Behold, I will open your graves and raise you from your graves, O my people. And I will bring you into the land of Israel. And you shall know that I am the Lord, when I open your graves, and raise you from your graves, O my people. And I will put my Spirit within you, and you shall live, and I will place you in your own land. Then you shall know that I am the Lord; I have spoken, and I will do it, declares the Lord."”

This piece was created on stretched canvas using acrylic paint, coffee, joint compound, and plaster. It has multiple layers of varnish cover to protect it so it can be hung in any room of your home including humid or steamy rooms without being damaged. It is signed and dated on the back and comes wired and ready to hang, unless told otherwise because you don’t know yet how you’d want it hung. Which also means I may choose to not wire it if you choose to have it framed.

This means to claim this piece of mine, you can put 1/3 of the price down as a deposit, which is paid through by Venmo instead of my Shop, and pay the rest off in installments and it will then be shipped out the week it’s paid in full. I will make the item as sold for you so no one else can claim it even though just the deposit is paid, if this is your choice of paying for it.

SHIPPING

US shipping is free. Local pick up is available for anyone in the Roseville/Concord, California area. Otherwise, paintings will be shipped the same week they are paid off and should arrive normal ground shipment within 5-10 business days with its Certificate of Authenticity inside so you have proof that you own the original piece of artwork by the artist, me.
